We have a desire to serve the people of Somerville and that includes children. We want to create a special place for kids to play, learn, and connect! We are inspired by Christ's heart for kids and our desire to come alongside families to help disciple the next generation of Christians.

 

Kids 5-12 (Emmanuel Kids)

Every week the kids from ages 5-12 will join us for the first portion of the service. Then before the sermon they will be dismissed into Emmanuel Kids Zone. Here your children can expect to experience play, worship, and teaching that will encourage a love of God and to have fun. Alongside arts and crafts, they will be able to dance and sing, as well as hear a message specifically for them. ​​To ensure that your kids are safe, we ensure that all of our volunteers, clergy, and Kids staff have not only been background checked but also have been through ministry safe procedures. We want to make sure that every parent will know their kids are in great hands and will have a great time in the Zone. Everyone who participates in Emmanuel Kids has a heart for Jesus and wants to make sure your children enjoy their time with us.​​​

 

Kids 3 Months- 4 Years

For the youngest of our children, 3 months through 4 years, they are welcome to join with the families in the main worship service. We love kids and trust that your little ones will always be welcome. If a parent needs to step away with a child, we have a Quiet Room outside the sanctuary where you will find a space to tend to your child, and still be able to watch the service.
