Since May 2014, Emmanuel Church has partnered with Feeding Hands, a Christian, private, non-profit organization that provides almost 10,000 pounds of meat, produce and non-perishables each month to veterans, the working poor, persons with disabilities, seniors and the unemployed in our community.
Approximately 40% of the pantry’s guests walk to our church as they do
not have automobiles. Many use 75% or more of their income to live in boarding houses where there is not even a communal kitchen. The
pantry is open at our church every Tuesday, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM,
and 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
Volunteers from our church and other area churches participate in this weekly ministry. Please call (908) 397-6452…

Feeding Hands is thrilled to announce that in June they received a $15,000 grant from the ACNA - Anglican Church of North America! They were selected based on their "ability to make the most impact in terms of meeting real human needs of the poor and needy and in transmitting the Gospel of God's Grace to those served."
