Whosoever Gospel Mission

The Whosoever Gospel Mission is a Christian nonprofit organization whose purpose is to provide shelter, food, clothing, education, counseling, rehabilitation and other assistance to homeless and/or needy men, women and children in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area. As the lighted sign on their rooftop proclaims each night, they seek to offer the love of Jesus and the hope of the Gospel in both word and deed to those who are hurting.

Emmanuel Church supports this mission by donating items to their Lighthouse Thrift Shop. We collect and donate the following:

•    Men's, Women's and Children's Clothing
•    Shoes & Accessories
•    Housewares
•    Linens
•    Bric-a-brac
•    Jewelry
•    Toys & Kid's Books
•    CDs, DVDs, Records, VHS and Cassette Tapes

They do not accept the following: computers, computer parts and accessories, books other than children's books, major appliances, TVs or any furniture.

If you are interested in donating, please contact the church office for details on drop-off and we will make the delivery to the Lighthouse Thrift Shop.

The Alliance Stamp Ministry

This ministry collects used stamps, the sales of which provided the publishing and distribution of a Spanish language curriculum for Sundays Schools in Latin America. More than 50 lesson series have been published and are being used in churches of 40 different denominations and missions in 19 Latin American countries.

Our church collects used stamps and sends them to the Alliance Stamp Ministry on a regular basis.  If you are interested in donating used stamps, please contact the church office for more information (half of the envelope should surround the used stamp when donating).
